Richmond Speaks Releases Draft Key Findings Report

Richmond Speaks, “a public conversation between Richmond residents, public officials, and especially young people and the Richmond Slave Trail Commission (STC) about the Lumpkin’s Jail site,” released their initial draft findings report (PDF) this week. After several public meetings and outreach efforts, the group focused on six priorities for future development at the Lumpkin’s Jail Site:

  • Expansive
  • Community-focused
  • Educational
  • Authentic
  • Interactive
  • Sustainable
