Bon Secours, Church Hill Activities and Tutoring, and the City of Richmond break ground on Parsley’s Center for Healthy Communities tomorrow at 10:30 AM.
The Center will serve three functions–a demonstration kitchen for cooking lessons and other healthy pursuits, a CHAT coffee shop that will employee local teenagers, and a group health and community meeting space.
Representatives from all partnering organizations, including Councilwoman Cynthia Newbille of the 7th District, announce details of use and new programs and initiatives designed to improve health and build community in Richmond’s East End.
