Tonight, the City of Richmond invites you to listen to the issues and opportunities surrounding the Orleans station, which will be the easternmost stop on the Bus Rapid Transit (GRTC Pulse) line.
The BRT will provide more rapid and efficient transportation from east of the City to west of the City (ending at Willow Lawn). The Orleans station and Rocketts Landing is itself a critical piece, being the closest the Fulton community will get to this main artery. As such, the City is paying special attention to Orleans and is asking for input.
Tonight’s “listening session” is one of three meetings on consecutive nights. Tomorrow’s will reveal design alternatives and Thursday’s will refine the preferred option.
